Preparation for the exam

The PMP® (Project Management Professional) certification is the most recognised project management certification in the world.

This is issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI), an international association involved in producing the standards and best practices in project management.

After this training, participants will have acquired all the techniques they need for project management and will be in the best position to pass the PMP® exam.

Training objectives:
  • Improve and structure participants’ know-how in processes, techniques and tools needed to manage a project.
  • Master the concepts and methodologies of the PMBOK® guide and become familiar with PMI® terminology.
  • Become familiar with the PMP® exam: “Tips on how to answer the exam questions effectively.”

  • Experienced project team member
  • Experienced engineer wishing to take the PMP® exam

Prerequisite :

Participants who would like to take the PMP® exam must meet the PMI®  qualification and experience requirements :

  • Justify 4,500 hours in project manangement for a holder of for 4 year degree or equivalent diploma.
  • Justify 7,500 hours in project manangement for a holder of baccalaureate or equivalent diploma.

Educational/supervisory device :

  • Trainees have access to PMI educational resources via a personal license accessible from the PMI.org site.

Assessment tool :

  • Each section will be approved using an MCQ summarising the fundamental concepts of the section, and practical application exercises will be provided during the sessions where necessary.

Programme

Duration: 5 days (35 hours)
Number of people:  8 to 12 participants.
Arrangements: single or multi-company face-to-face, given in French by a PMP® certified trainer, recognised and trained by the PMI.
Rates: contact us, certificate course eligible for the CPF (personal training account), Davidson Institute referenced on Datadock, an ATP (Authorised Training Partner) recognised by the PMI.
