Dedicated to network and IS security

Today, jobs that do not require a fiber, an internet connection, a security competence are becoming scarce.

eNodeB deployment project manager? WAN level 2 support? Java developer? Firewall expert? Radio engineer? etc. Every one of these professionals is responsible for the information they access. You take on this responsibility, what’s more to perfection. Now let’s go further!

We’re looking to get involved in increasingly challenging and innovative missions, which is why we felt it was necessary to switch up a gear by creating the Hack n’ Safe club, now officially created.

The club has three goals:

  1.  Assist Davidson’s CISO (Chief Information Security Officer)
  • Challenge Davidson’s IT teams to improve the security of our IS
  • Support the Davidson IT teams in their projects
  1. Assist you with your introduction to or upskilling in IS security

Davidson managers and the CISO meet every week to devise:

  •  Workshops to offer you (in collaboration with the consultants
  • Security challenges to ensure you learn and excel in our lab
  • Internal projects or projects with our customers that you participate in
  1. Participate in and run events with our customers and IS security professionals
  • Already a member of the OSSIR IS and network security monitoring centre to share the CISO discussions
  • Organisation of a security week

After holding several monthly workshops since September 2017 (such as “Cyber security regulation awareness” and “What’s the difference between authentication and identification?), run by consultants, some of you have also assisted the CISO and the IT team with the information security training project as part of a project in partnership with our customer Orange.

The ideas have come thick and fast. Together:

  • We’re continuing to recruit big names in the field to build a new offering for our customers and put together a squad that will work on task force projects at our customers.
  • We’re setting up challenges that involve each of the consultants.
  • Lastly, we’re working on organising the security week, which will bring together consultants, customers and suppliers for debates, presentations and other challenges.
