What connects us:
We met Mathieu Bablet during our call for artists to illustrate the fourth edition of DA VIDSON CODE, a special issue — the first since we became a B Corp. The assigned theme, “What if humanity reconciled with the planet?”, was a bold challenge: how to creatively and impactfully address such an urgent and relevant issue?
Mathieu Bablet’s proposal immediately captivated us with its depth and relevance. In his work, he envisions a city where nature has reclaimed its space — where green areas multiply, urban gardens flourish, and city dwellers have learned to adapt to a healthier, more self-sufficient environment. His vision, both forward-thinking and rooted in current ecological challenges, perfectly echoes our philosophy: raising awareness about environmental issues and encouraging reflection on necessary change. With his unique touch, Mathieu illustrated this theme in a way that is both poetic and realistic — offering a compelling and urgent vision of the future.
