Mission / Profil

You will be working in Davidson’s Big Data & Data Science unit. This team’s job is to build architectures for collecting and interpreting data! The work spans a very wide range of sectors and customers: from IoT startups to large audiovisual groups, etc.

Your work will include the following:

  • Conducting functional analyses to capture customer needs
  • Assisting project teams in designing data models
  • Identifying value creation strategies that exceed customer expectations
  • Designing solutions (Data Integration, ETL, Data Warehouses), indicators and dashboards
  • Organising and preparing for user acceptance processes
  • Implementing scale-up processes

 

Skills (pre-existing or to be acquired)

  • You will have a postgraduate degree and some initial successful experience in the BI sector
  • You know that SQL isn’t pronounced “ess-kyew-ell”
  • You’re fully conversant with an ETL process (SSIS, Talend, Datastage, Informatica) and a business intelligence solution (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.), or, failing that, a reporting tool (BO, Cognos, Microstrategy)
  • And, dare we say it, you also have experience with mega-Big Data
